Established in 1875, the college’s rich history provided a strong foundation for my medical education. Learning from esteemed faculty and collaborating with dedicated peers deepened my understanding of medical sciences, while clinical rotations at Mitford Hospital—one of the country's oldest—offered hands-on exposure to patient care. Beyond academics, engaging in extracurricular activities and community service shaped my personal growth and strengthened my dedication to the field of healthcare

I completed my HSC at Cantt. Public School & College, Rangpur, marking a pivotal chapter in my academic journey. During this time, I lived in a mess, my first experience staying away from home for studies. This newfound independence brought both challenges and growth, shaping me in many ways. One of the most memorable aspects was sharing meals outside with my peers, creating bonds and cherished moments that added warmth to my time away from home.

My high school experience was anything but typical. While academics were important, my true passion lay in books—especially thrillers and detective novels. From as early as class six, I developed a habit of reading newspapers for hours, immersing myself in stories from around the world. Ironically, I no longer have the patience for it now, but back then, flipping through pages, absorbing headlines, and dissecting articles felt like a daily ritual. Books were my escape, my adventure, my secret world. Every suspenseful twist, every clever detective unraveling a mystery kept me hooked. Though I had to hide most of my reading from my parents, the thrill of finishing a novel in stolen moments made the experience even more exciting.
